To be completely transparent with you, we are three weeks from the deadline and pacing behind our target. So I want to briefly explain why your donation today would mean so much:

We've been making incredible headway this month. With your support, another bill I introduced to improve veterans’ job training and education benefits was signed into law by President Biden. We also sounded the alarm to a national audience on MSNBC about the need to remove nuclear waste from San Onofre.

Progress is being made, but we've been so focused on important legislative work that we've had less time to fundraise for the reelection campaign. That's not ideal given how competitive our race will become.

The most effective way I can stay focused on Congress and fully fund our campaign operation is through fundraising emails just like this one -- which is why I'm asking:
