My name is Matt Schoonmaker, and I am Allison Russo’s campaign manager.

I joined this campaign because I believe that Allison will be the first Democrat to flip a congressional seat blue this cycle.

She’s a state representative, public health expert, wife to a combat veteran, mom, and above all: an advocate. She’s taken on corruption, fought for women and military families, and worked to increase access to healthcare. And now she’s running for the Special Election in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District.

Allison is the right person for the job, and I strongly believe that after this Special Election, Allison Russo will be the Congresswoman from the Ohio 15th Congressional District. I wouldn’t be writing this email if I didn’t believe that.

But, as the campaign manager, it’s my job to focus on achieving this goal. Frankly, we need your help. We can’t win this election without grassroots support from folks like you.

Former President Trump, the outgoing U.S. Representative who used to occupy this seat, and conservative special interests are already weighing in on this race. We have our work cut out for ourselves.

But, with your support, we can and will flip this seat blue. Until then, I look forward to staying in touch throughout the summer.
