Friend --

We can’t let the fight for marijuana justice leave cannabis businesses behind. In addition to supporting future protections, I'm working towards restorative justice for business owners who have been harmed by criminalization. Minority-owned businesses have been particularly targeted by criminalization, and any change that doesn't address that isn't doing enough.

As Chairwoman of the House Small Business Committee, I fought hard to ensure that these provisions were included in the MORE Act, and I will continue to advocate for dispensaries and other small cannabis businesses going forward.

There is pressure from my colleagues in Congress to exclude these businesses from federal relief programs once we’ve ended the prohibition, which would disproportionately harm people of color -- and their businesses. I'm working as hard as I can to make sure that doesn't happen, but I can't do it alone.

Will you invest in me so I can continue to fight for these protections? [[link removed]]

Although this bill is a key step towards marijuana justice, there is still significant work to be done, and I’m ready to do it. Join me. [[link removed]]

Thank you,
