This past week, we learned that the GOP launched a new set of attack ads against me. So before the end of the weekend, I wanted you to hear directly from me about what this means for our campaign and personally ask you to chip in a few dollars to our $18,000 rapid response fund so our team has the resources to push back against these attack ads.

I wish I had better news to share, but the truth is, their attacks are picking up steam. Just seven months after the last election, the GOP has already spent almost $1 million against me to put misleading TV ads in front of as many voters as possible, not to mention what they have running against me on digital and radio too.

After talking to my team, it’s clear that we need to respond forcefully. The GOP is pulling out all the stops this early in the cycle because they know ME-02 is one of the most competitive districts on the map. They’re trying to buy my seat, and we need to come together to show them that this district belongs to the people -- not the highest bidder.
