Friend,

I am thrilled that Virginians have chosen Delegate Hala Ayala as our Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor. Hala has the opportunity to make history as the first woman of color to hold statewide office in the Commonwealth, and I'm looking forward to working closely with her to win in November and elect Democrats up and down the ticket.

Winning this election will take hard work and a team effort – which is why I'm asking for your support today. Will you join me in supporting Hala Ayala for Lieutenant Governor to make sure we keep Virginia blue in 2021? >>> [link removed]

When I previously endorsed Hala for her successful House of Delegates run, I talked about her long history of service to Virginia and America. As a cybersecurity specialist, she's spent decades protecting Americans from dangerous attacks, and I know she'll bring that experience to the Lieutenant Governor's office. But that's not all.

As a Delegate, Hala played key roles in many of the major victories Democrats have achieved in Richmond over the past few years: expanding Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, pushing through background check legislation, passing the Equal Rights Amendments, and more. She's been a true leader, and her plans for the Lieutenant Governor's office are truly exciting.

I need your help to get this champion for health care, women's rights, and justice over the finish line in November so we can keep moving Virginia forward. Will you make a split donation today to help elect Hala and other great Democrats?

– Mark
