This is a weekly update from the Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Lawrence Tabas filling you in on what our statewide party leaders are up to, along with relevant news pertaining to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. | Fellow Pennsylvanians, This week, we scored a HUGE victory in the state legislature as our Republican Legislators voted to terminate Governor's Wolf’s emergency powers. The voters made it clear on May 18th that they rejected Wolf’s executive overreach and his lockdowns, and after ending his emergency powers, our Party is working to ensure we resume normal life as quickly as possible. But as we work to reopen our state, we must also prepare to follow up on our victory by making sure our Republican candidates win big next year. That’s why our Party is working overtime to ensure we defeat Wolf’s Democrat candidates, elect a conservative Republican to serve as our next Governor, and win elections up and down the ballot.
