Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced his plan to bring the For the People Act for a vote the week of June 21. This is two months sooner than we expected. That makes the next three weeks even more critical -- as we work on an expedited timeline to get this bill passed.
As Senate Majority Leader Schumer said, if our democracy doesn’t work -- we can’t make progress on the issues we care about. We need to pass the For the People Act and make our democracy work for the people.
