With Congress out of session for the past few weeks, my staff and I have been busy in the community ensuring the COVID-19 relief my colleagues and I passed in the American Rescue Plan is helping Los Angeles. Here's the latest from CA-34!

We all know small businesses keep CA-34 running. That's why I fought for billions in small business relief in the American Rescue Plan, including the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant, and more Paycheck Protection Program funding.

Included in the American Rescue Plan is a revolutionary expanded Child Tax Credit that I fought hard to secure. This guaranteed monthly income will pay $250 per month for each child you have age 6-17 and $300 per month for each child up to five years old.

In total, you'll receive $3,000 or 3,600 this year! Watch my video above to learn more and visit my Child Tax Credit webpage. These payments will begin hitting your bank account on July 15th.

California's reopening on June 15th, and we're almost there!

I recently joined Governor Newsom to announce the state's Vax for the Win program. On the 15th, the Governor will announce ten winners who will each receive $1.5 million. All you need to do to enter is get your COVID-19 shot!
