CNN: DOJ investigating political fundraising by controversial Postmaster General Louis DeJoy
 
FIRST, Donald Trump picked Louis DeJoy as his Postmaster General even though he had massive conflicts of interests and no relevant experience.
 
THEN, DeJoy tried to make it easier for Donald Trump to walk to reelection by manufacturing postal delays and backlogs that would have kept predominantly Democratic ballots from being counted.
 
NOW, Merrick Garland and the Justice Department are investigating DeJoy, not for his previous crimes but for breaking federal campaign finance laws to benefit Donald Trump and other Republicans. There is no place in government for such a corrupt figure. DeJoy is hellbent on destroying one of our most precious federal agencies, and it's time for him to go.
 
DeJoy thinks he's untouchable. The only group that can fire Louis DeJoy is the USPS Board of Governors, and Trump's conservative appointees to the board will likely never give in to the mounting pressure to call for his removal. But if enough voters speak up and we build a powerful campaign, we can persuade the other members of the USPS Board of Governors to oust DeJoy. Biden's three appointees to the board have now been confirmed, and now is the time to push for getting DeJoy out of this vital public agency.
