Recently, President Biden unveiled a bold budget proposal that would make historic investments in American workers, families, our infrastructure, affordable housing, and the manufacturing industry.

President Biden’s budget would be transformational for rebuilding our economy and securing our economic future, and it would invest in communities across the country that Washington and Wall Street have too often left behind.

Biden’s budget would create good-paying jobs and I’m proud that it embraces policies I’ve been fighting for in Congress, including:

• Protecting workers’ rights and holding corporations accountable 
• Lowering astronomical prescription drug costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate prices
• Ensuring corporations and the wealthiest pay their fair share in taxes
• Building and modernizing affordable and energy-efficient housing, schools, and child care and veterans facilities
• Making investments to combat the climate crisis and make our infrastructure climate-resilient
• Strengthen food assistance to combat childhood hunger
