This week, The American Conservative Union Ratings were utilized to analyze Alaska Congressional Delegation Voting. Also, they were highlighted in the Missouri Senate Race and The Missouri Times.

Like women’s sports, prisons pose real problems for transgender people. Sending a transgender woman to a men’s prison will almost certainly result in repeated sexual assault. Yet, housing transgender people in the prisons reflecting their gender identity is equally problematic for those who are not transgender. Everyone must be held accountable for breaking the law. But regardless of how we feel about transgender issues, the government has a Constitutional responsibility to keep people safe when they are behind bars. No one is sentenced to being raped. ACU Foundation’s David Safavian recently wrote an op-ed for Governing Magazine advocating for a third option: leverage the private sector to house transgender inmates.

The American Conservative Union has recently launched new Membership Circles. There are four yearly levels you can choose from to support ACU’s efforts. By joining a circle, you are contributing to the fight to save America!
