John,

I want to make sure you saw the below email.

The latest U.N. report is another plea to swiftly halt our use of fossil fuels in order to avoid a fate of extreme global climate chaos.

Can you make a donation today to help stop fossil fuel pipelines?

John,

The latest blockbuster U.N. report on the climate crisis just came out, and it's absolutely terrifying.

The report finds that our oceans are already dying from rising temperatures. Coastal flooding is increasing and sure to get worse. Formerly “once-a-century” storms are turning into super-charged monster storms.1

This is our “final warning.” If we don't rapidly end fossil fuel use, it's game over for the climate — and our planet.

That's why Food & Water Action is fighting from New Jersey to Virginia to Minnesota to stop the construction of new fracked gas and oil pipelines. With hundreds of new pipelines planned across the country, we need to fight them all, everywhere we can. Will you make a donation to help stop these new fossil fuel pipelines?

Yes, I'll donate to help stop new fossil fuel pipelines that will make global climate chaos even worse!

From our food and water ecosystems to global weather patterns, our planet is driven by its oceans. Catastrophic climate change creates enormous risks to people and threatens our food and water.

Food & Water Action worked with a broad coalition to ban fracking in New York, Maryland, and Washington State. We've fought and stopped dangerous oil and gas infrastructure in communities across the country. We helped pass historic legislation in Baltimore to protect public water and built the national movement to ban fracking.

But in the face of mounting data on the climate crisis, we're intensifying our efforts to stop new pipelines, including:

- The Williams Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) fracked gas pipeline through Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the waters off Staten Island, Brooklyn, and the Rockaways.

- The Mariner East 2 project carrying super-pressurized, highly volatile liquids in Pennsylvania and the PennEast fracked gas pipeline in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

- The Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley pipelines through Virginia.

- Supporting allies in Minnesota and Michigan pushing back against Enbridge’s proposed plans to both replace and expand their Line 3 pipeline through lakes and wetlands and further entrench their dangerous Line 5 pipeline in our Great Lakes.

In order to avoid the fate of extreme global climate chaos and poisoned oceans, we must act swiftly and aggressively to turn the tide now. This means a quick halt to all new fossil fuel extraction and burning, and a full-fledged commitment to 100 percent clean, renewable energy in the next decade.

There can be no more excuses. The time is now. Will you make a donation to help stop global warming and the pipelines that will lock us into even more catastrophic climate change?

Yes, I'll donate to help stop global warming.
