John - I'm Catherine's National Finance Director, and I wanted to loop you in here. I just ran the numbers, and I'm alarmed by where we're at - and how far we've got left to go.

We need to raise another $250,000 before the FEC's end-of-quarter deadline to protect Nevada's Senate seat and keep our Democratic majority. But we're not even close - and the stakes couldn't be higher. This is hands down the single most important goal of the campaign so far, John.

I'll give you a sneak peak at what I'm seeing in ActBlue because this is really important:

I wouldn't normally do this John, but after seeing the numbers, I'm going to ask you personally: Will you rush $5 or more right away to help us turn this around so we can keep Nevada and the Senate blue?

Here's why I'm so worried: The GOP only needs one seat to flip the Senate, hand control right back to Mitch McConnell and block our bold Democratic agenda. And CNN is calling Catherine one of the most vulnerable senators in the entire country, which means the GOP is going all in to defeat her.

Right-wing outside spending groups from across the country have already spent nearly $1 million in ads to defeat Catherine, and they're set to spend millions more. To make matters worse, election forecasters at Sabato's Crystal Ball are saying Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate could defeat Catherine.

John, I won't lie to you: This is going to be a long, difficult fight. We don't have the GOP's dark money machine - but with a strong showing from grassroots supporters like you, I know we can close the gap on our $250,000 goal and defend Nevada's Senate seat. But I also know we won't get there without your help personally:
