John,

The family separation policy -- designed by the Donald Trump administration -- was state-sanctioned cruelty and resulted in the separation of nearly 4,000 migrant children from their families. These children suffered horrible trauma, were not adequately protected from COVID-19, and lost track of their families in many cases.

As Chairwoman of the House Energy and Commerce Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, Diana is taking action to help correct our historical wrongs. Earlier this week, she led a hearing to find out what steps are being taken to reunite children -- immediately -- and how President Biden's Homeland Security department is meeting the needs of migrant children in their care.

Since taking office, the Biden administration has begun to reform our immigration system to be more humane and family-centered. They immediately launched an investigation into Trump's family separation, and over 1,700 migrant children have been reunited with their parents to date.

But there's more work to be done. We cannot stop until every separated child is in the arms of their families.

Diana is doing everything she can to support the Biden administration in this critical work, and she needs your voice, John. Sign on now to support humane and family-centered immigration policies.
