# [#]June 1st kicked off Pride Month which marks the anniversary of the Stonewall protests which were sparked by a police raid at the Stonewall Inn, a bar in New York City that served the city’s LGBTQ+ community.

Our nation has come a long way since Stonewall, but members of the LGBTQ+ community in our country and around the world still face daily discrimination.

Congress must pass legislation banning discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Add your name if you agree >> [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]

John,

The problem is clear: in sixty nine countries same-sex sexual relations are criminalized and in up to ten countries, it is punishable by death.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

That’s why Anna co-sponsored and introduced the GLOBE Act that would build a framework into U.S. diplomacy to protect LGBTQ+ human rights worldwide.

Congress should and needs to act to pass this legislation. Add your name in support of legislation to protect the LGBTQ+ community globally >> [[link removed]]

Anna has long been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and will continue to support the fight for equal rights.

Thanks,

Team Anna
