much more egregious.

We already knew the richest people in America weren’t paying their fair
share, but this report showed just how widespread the problem is — and it
revealed the details of how people like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Warren
Buffett, and Michael Bloomberg get away without paying their taxes.

This is unacceptable. That’s why I’m working on making sure the rich pay
their fair share. I introduced the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act alongside
Senator Elizabeth Warren earlier this year. Our legislation will narrow
the racial wealth gap, help level the economic playing field in this
country, and ensure that the wealthiest finally begin to pay their fair
share. It’ll do all of this while investing trillions of dollars into our
communities. And if you have a net worth of less than $50 million, you
won’t pay a penny.
