National STOP THE BLEED® Day would not be what it is without the thousands of supporters, volunteers, trainers, Ambassadors and many others across the globe all supporting #NSTBD. We want to give special recognition to JEMS: The Journal of Emergency Medical Services for their amazing support for STOP THE BLEED®.

** STOP THE BLEED® Ambassador Spotlight
------------------------------------------------------------

Meet just a few of our amazing Ambassadors and learn what makes them get involved. Raise Your Hand for STOP THE BLEED® just like these amazing people!

As a Trauma Nurse and Program Manager I see the pressing need to ensure the masses are rapidly equipped with STOP THE BLEED® training. Losing one life is too many when simple steps can be taken to control bleeding.

I am passionate about STOP THE BLEED® because I am passionate about medicine. I have goals to be a medical professional because I believe that everyone deserves to be treated fairly and adequately.

I'm a Brazilian doctor, trauma care instructor, and professor in a medical school, involved with pre-hospital emergency care teaching. I will be thrilled and honored to spread this message to my students and in each and every opportunity I have.

The National STOP THE BLEED® Day project is designed to heighten public awareness of STOP THE BLEED® by making it easy for individuals and organizations to get involved in the campaign. It is supported by the US Department of Defense, the American College of Surgeons, Stop the Bleed Coalition, the American Red Cross, the American College of Emergency Physicians and many other private and public sector organizations across the country.

We appreciate and share your passion about educating and advocating for access to bleeding control training and equipment. We will continue to provide updates related to coalition activities.

Best Regards Always,
