This WWII Veteran is Almost Back in His Home, Thanks to You.
In our last newsletter, we brought you the full story of 95-year-old WWII veteran, Alfred Guerra.
Thanks to you, Alfred's home is well underway— but we only reached about 3/4 of our financial goal to support the project. We could still use your help to ensure we can complete 100% of the repairs.
Did You Hear the BIG News?
It took us a bit of time to get the final count... but we finally managed to count ALLLLLLL of the socks from the 2021 Soldiers' Angels #WarmFeetforWarriors sock collection drive... all 63,535 pairs!!
That's right! Our final count was 63,535 pairs of socks collected— blowing our goal of 10,000 pairs completely out of the water!!
Thank you does not begin to cover how grateful we are for everyone's generosity. After such a rough collection year in 2020, you all are helping us come back stronger than ever. This is the most socks ever collected for Warm Feet for Warriors!!

With all of the extra support we have been providing throughout the pandemic, our stock of care package supplies is depleted and we could really use your help to replenish our supply! The Go Camo Care Package Collection focuses on collecting the top-requested items we use in care packages for deployed service members registered to receive support as well as Chaplains who may request multiple care packages that will support entire units.

Christmas in July
The Soldiers’ Angels Holiday Stockings for Heroes campaign has quickly become one of our most popular campaigns! However, because of its proximity to the holiday season, it can be difficult for everyone to find the time to stuff holiday stockings. In addition, the summer months in the Middle East can be painfully hot… which can make life even more stressful for service members deployed to that region. With those things in mind, we decided summertime would be a great time to send them something to celebrate! An unexpected surprise of a summer-themed holiday stocking!
Warm, Delicious Cookies for Veterans
A big thanks to Tiff's Treats for honoring veterans and commemorating their fallen brothers and sisters on Memorial Day! Soldiers' Angels and Tiff's Treats hand delivered 2 dozen freshly baked warm cookies to veterans of all generations on Monday, May 31st. Attached to each box of cookies was a small note that read:
"Today as we honor those who made the great sacrifice, we wanted to express our gratitude for you. Thank you from your friends at Tiff's Treats and Soldiers' Angels."
