Imagine this for a moment: Your employer brings on a new staffer who harasses, intimidates, and spews hate at you, your colleagues, and masses of Americans. What do you think would be done about this person? They would be fired.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, in her short time in Congress, has quickly dishonored her position as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. There is no place in any workplace, much less the halls of Congress, for those who harass, intimidate, and spew hate.
Marjorie Taylor Greene most recently made an abhorrent comment comparing the mask mandate in the U.S. House to the Nazi extermination program of Jewish people during the Holocaust—and that’s just scratching the surface. She has clearly shown Americans her racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, conspiracy theories, and attacks against survivors of gun violence. She incites violence with the hate she spews and must be removed from Congress.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has refused to take disciplinary actions against Greene. McCarthy and the GOP's silence in the face of Greene's unconscionable conduct isn't just a bad look—it's a threat to other lawmakers. Her recent threats against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have caused AOC to fear for her physical safety and hire more security, and Rep. Jimmy Gomez, who introduced the resolution to expel Greene reports receiving death threats from her supporters.
Our country and democracy are in danger every minute that Rep. Greene is still a member of Congress.
