Subject: You’ve got to see this

Did you see this morning’s laughable “press conference” in San Francisco?

California Governor Newsom, AG Bonta, and a gang of gun control activists from Brady & Giffords got on live television to announce their response to FPC’s historic victory in Miller v. Bonta. And oh man are they scared!

I knew when Judge Benitez found that California’s 32-year ban on so-called “assault weapons” was unconstitutional that we’d be hearing about it. But I didn’t expect this reaction.

Almost a week after Judge Benitez’s decision, they are still comparing an AR-15 to a swiss army knife, as if the Judge meant anything other than an AR-15 was a versatile firearm...

Governor Newsom said that as the “son of a judge,” he respects judicial opinions… and then he went on to attack Judge Benitez’s character and proclaim that he is a “wholly-owned subsidiary of the gun lobby.”

FIGHT BACK! <[link removed]>

Keep in mind that this is the same Judge who was confirmed in 2004 on a vote of 98-1, and who received favorable votes from California Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein.

But now that Judge Benitez has committed the unpardonable sin of upholding the Constitution, they’ve decided something’s gotta give.

That’s why the California Department of Justice announced today that they have appealed FPC’s case to the Ninth Circuit and are seeking a stay of Judge Benitez’s decision.

That’s why I’m emailing you today, Friend. I need your help to make sure that FPC’s win survives the coming attacks by the State of California.

I CANNOT overstate the importance of this case. As we’ve said before, the Benitez ruling is the first and ONLY win in federal court over a state “assault weapons” ban.

And the fact we pulled this off in California, a huge gun-controlled state behind enemy lines, means we are poised to potentially reshape gun laws nationwide.

FINISH THE FIGHT! <[link removed]>

Now we all know the Ninth Circuit’s reputation, but trust me when I say that we anticipated this. And we built our case from the ground up with the intention of going all the way.

FPC is committed to fighting this case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. And we’re confident that if our case goes to SCOTUS that we may WIN.

But before any of that can happen, we need to stay focused on the present. Which means stopping California from undoing Benitez’s ruling on appeal and preventing California from obtaining a stay.

My team is already hard at work preparing for the next stage of our litigation, but the Legal Team needs an immediate and fresh infusion of cash to finish this fight.

Litigation at the Ninth Circuit can be extremely costly, and we need a head start to make sure we’re ready to go at a moment’s notice.

Look, you know I don’t ask for this often, but there’s just no other choice. Will you help me and my team finish this fight by making a contribution?

<[link removed]>

If you donate $25, $50, $100 or perhaps even a more generous amount, you will automatically be entered to WIN an FU Newsom LR 308 with a Riton X7 CONQUER 4-32×56!  <[link removed]>

As we speak, the State’s attorneys are preparing to make their own case to what they hope will be a Ninth Circuit echo chamber of anti-gun jurisprudence.

After all, they even stated at the press conference today that ‘no responsible gun owner would ever want an AR-15 to defend their home.’

We know that statement is patently false.

DONATE $100 <[link removed]>

DONATE $50 <[link removed]>

DONATE $25 <[link removed]>

DONATE ANY AMOUNT <[link removed]>

But make no mistake, we landed a HUGE blow to California and the gun control movement when we overturned the “assault weapons” ban - their resulting tantrum is proof.

And we expect the coming attacks will be vicious and overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important that you step up today and make a donation to help protect this historic win.

My team is very excited to see who steps up today, and I’ll be printing off a list for them of the first 100 gun owners who give to our legal defense fund.

If you give within the next hour, YOUR NAME could be seen at the highest levels within FPC’s Legal Division and Senior Management.  <[link removed]>

Thank you very much for your support and commitment to liberty in these trying times! Together, we can prevail and restore the Second Amendment rights of millions of Americans.

Sincerely,

Adam Kraut
