We're finalizing all the details of WAVE's Gun Violence Prevention Day of Action for caring Wisconsin citizens at the Capitol October 24, and we need your RSVP...ASAP. 

Governor Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes will be joining us, so the only question is...Will you?

Once you sign up to join us on our Day of Action, we'll get started creating a personal packet just for you. You'll have everything you need to be prepared for an afternoon of talking with elected officials about gun violence prevention.

That's why we need to know today whether you plan to be there. (Plus, we want to make sure we order enough food for everyone!) The deadline to sign up is TODAY.
 
Then, on the morning of October 24th, you will participate in a personalized, hands-on, interactive training session, and you'll get to meet Gov. Evers and Lt. Gov. Barnes. After lunch, you'll meet with your elected officials or their staff. Your presence will send a strong message that the public expects our legislature to take action--now.

WHAT: Day of Action because we, the citizens of Wisconsin, deserve to be heard!

WHEN: Thursday, October 24th / Check-in 9:45 am – 10 am

WHERE: Gather at Bethel Lutheran Church (312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison) for a morning of citizen advocacy training and a working lunch with your fellow citizen-activists. After lunch, we will march together to the Capitol to meet with elected officials and staff.

COST: $15, includes lunch, a tote bag, and training materials to make your meetings as powerful as possible.
