Here’s what you need to know as we approach our first public filing deadline:

All eyes are on this toss-up seat. CNN has repeatedly ranked Pennsylvania’s Senate seat as the most likely to flip, while The Hill reports our race as one of Democrats’ “best opportunities to flip a Senate seat that has been held by Republicans for 50 of the past 52 years.” That means Val has a real opportunity to turn this seat blue.

Right now, Democrats have a razor-thin Senate majority. Republicans still have the power to obstruct legislation and have already done so. Winning this seat is key to ensuring Democrats can pass policies that lift up workers and families. And Val is the candidate with the experience and determination to make that happen.

But Republicans will stop at nothing to keep Pennsylvania red and regain the Senate majority. To make matters worse, they have a whopping $20.7 million at their disposal to defeat Democrats like Val. Meanwhile, we’re not quite where we want to be for our June fundraising. So it’s critical we catch up with just weeks to go before our first end-of-quarter deadline.
