We know that Senator Manchin's position on the filibuster is constitutionally inconsistent, historically inaccurate, morally indefensible, economically unsound, and politically unacceptable. Joe Manchin’s actions are not only hurting the 710,000 poor and low wealth people in his own state but millions upon millions of poor and low wealth voters of all races around the country.

Join us Monday, in person or online, and take action today by sending Senator Manchin a letter to let him know that that we are watching, and we won't let him sell us out, and we won't be silent anymore!

We need a full restoration of the 1965 Voting Rights Act, we support the vision of the For the People Act and expanded protections for our democracy, beginning with the right to vote for everybody. Manchin's cynical call for "bipartisanship" goes against the interests of poor and low-income people throughout the United States who desperately need living wages of at least $15 / hour, guaranteed health care, housing and an infrastructure plan that meets all of our needs.
