It turns out, President Trump (and the rest of us with any common sense) might have been right when we said the China virus came from a lab.
Even Dr. Fauci won’t deny it anymore.
But for a year, they called us all “conspiracy theorists” for suggesting that.
Facebook even banned users who made that claim, during an election year, while Joe Biden was under scrutiny for his close ties to China.
Now that Joe Biden is president, Facebook says it won’t ban people for suggesting that the China virus came from a lab:
In a free country, nobody should be silenced for their beliefs -- not by the government, and not by a Big Tech monopoly.
This is exactly why I introduced the Stop the Censorship Act of 2020.
Now, I need your support to make sure it becomes law ([link removed]) .
Chip into my reelection campaign and help me protect free speech for all Americans, before it’s too late ([link removed]) .
These Big Tech companies have far too much power, and they’re using it against conservatives.
Facebook may very well have altered the outcome of an election by banning certain opinions -- including on the origins of the China virus.
Twitter BANNED President Trump while he was still in office.
This is an outrage, and I am shocked that I am one of the few elected Republicans standing up for free speech.
By contributing to my reelection campaign today, you’re showing me that you have my back, and sending a message to my colleagues: it’s time to get into the 21st century and make sure Big Tech can’t SILENCE conservative speech ([link removed]) .
But don’t wait, fellow conservative, because time is of the essence.
These Big Tech monopolies, including Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, and Google, are on an authoritarian streak.
Google throttles search results from conservative news sites like Breitbart.
Twitter continues to arbitrarily ban conservatives.
Facebook is still censoring some news that doesn’t fit the official narrative.
Amazon is banning right-wing books and authors from its platform.
If we are going to combat this authoritarian streak, we must do so before it’s too late.
