The manicured gardens and beautiful ruins of Newstead Abbey and the spectacular Elizabethan mansion and park at Wollaton are once again offering a fantastic season of open air theatre performances throughout the summer. The first performance of the year:?Mr?Stink?- the David Walliams best seller, is at Wollaton Hall on Saturday. *But, tickets are selling fast so don't delay. Please book ahead wherever possible.*

Enjoy deft physicality, vibrant story-telling, fast-paced drama, plenty of music making, and many a quick costume change along the way! The season includes performances for all; kids stories,?to classic Shakespeare, to more modern classics.

The Newstead season starts a little bit later (Thursday?22 July to Friday 20 August), still offering the same mix of performances to delight children and adults alike with Mr Stink paying a visit as well as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Wind in the Willows, and The Great Gatsby.
