Happy Friday, Supporter,
In honor of International Lynx Day, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself. I’m the Canada lynx, and I live in Montana (though I’ve got cousins all around the Northern US and, of course, in Canada). I look kind of like a large housecat, and if I do humbly say, I’m pretty cute.
I enjoy hunting in the forest, especially during the winter. And as nocturnal animals, my friends and I generally stay out of the way of you humans.

But, I’m reaching out today because we need your help.
A few years ago, the Trump administration removed the Canada lynx from the protections of the Endangered Species Act. We’re still threatened by people cutting down timber and ruining our habitats and by others hunting us for our luxurious fur. Unfortunately, the political powers that be determined that increasing logging and gas drilling was more important than keeping us safe. When this happened, Sierra Club promised to oppose this action and fight for us.

Can you make a donation in honor of International Lynx Day to support our friends at Sierra Club?
Your generous donation will support the Sierra Club's work, including its conservation efforts to protect lynx in Glacier National Park and other magnificent wild places. Any amount helps,

but if you donate $39 or more , you’ll have the opportunity to symbolically adopt me! I’ll send a 9 inch plush lynx, an adoption certificate, and some other goodies!
Thanks for your help!
