There’s a story I talk about often at rallies and town halls that I would like to share with you now.

When I was helping young entrepreneurs start businesses in cities across America, I saw the devastation that was happening in local communities because of automation and our changing economy.

So I headed to DC and asked our elected representatives what they were planning to do to solve the problem. Their solutions ranged from ineffective to nonexistent.

So I did the math and came up with the real solutions that would address these issues. When I went back to talk with our representatives again, I was told something I’ll never forget:

"You are in the wrong town, here in Washington. We are not a town of leaders, we are a town of followers. What you need to do, Andrew, is to create a wave across this country and bring it crashing down on our heads.”

After that, I said, “Challenge accepted.” Many in the establishment and the media laughed at us in the beginning, but I can guarantee you they’re not laughing now.

Every day, in town halls, online, and in local communities with friends talking to friends, we’re building this wave together. A wave we can bring crashing down on Washington to build the change we need.

So here’s where we stand at this moment: the wave is building. We are qualifying for every debate. We are meeting every challenge the DNC throws at us. We are growing in the polls We are easily breaking through the donor thresholds. We are shocking the establishment with our grassroots fundraising totals. This is what we’ve all done together, Yang Gang.

Now is not the time to slow down -- we need to accelerate. We must hire exponentially more staff, travel to more states, and yes, raise more money to match the top contenders in this race.

Can you chip in for the first time and be a part of this moment? We cannot bring the wave crashing down on Washington without you.

As much as many in the establishment media have tried to label me the candidate of “doom-and-gloom,” I only ran for president because I believe we can build a better world, for ourselves and our children. We can build a world that doesn’t leave anyone behind. Together, we can do anything.
