Together, you and I, with tens of thousands of others from allied organizations across the nation have called on the U.S. Senate to end the filibuster and vote to remove the time limit blocking the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) from being added to the U.S. Constitution.
It’s time, long overdue, to put this simple guarantee into the Constitution:

It’s up to us to demand an end to the Senate filibuster — not only for the ERA, but for the preservation of our democracy, expansion of voting rights, raising the minimum wage, dealing with climate change, passing commonsense gun laws, providing a path to citizenship for Dreamers, reducing violence against women, passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, and increasing access to reproductive rights and justice.

We’ve seen them use the filibuster already to obstruct the January 6th independent commission to investigate the insurrection, and trust me, they are planning to use it again (and AGAIN).

2021 can be the year we finally secure equal rights by adding the ERA into the U.S. Constitution. But we have to end the filibuster first.
