June is Pride Month, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s fight for equality.

This Pride Month, I am so proud of the contributions put forth by the LGBTQ+ community as they continue to fight for justice. These contributions have benefitted not just the LGBTQ+ community, but have made all of us better as we strive towards fairness.

I’m going to keep fighting for LGBTQ+ rights in Congress, because it’s the right thing to do. I hope you’ll join me in saying: love is love.

I hope that this month, we can reflect on our responsibility to protect freedom and equality for all Arizonans and celebrate the strength of our diversity. We are stronger because of the progress we’ve made, and I’m proud to stand with the LGBTQ+ community.
