Summer is just around the corner, and Population Connection has an exciting line-up of virtual events planned! To kick off our Summer Series, we invite you to join us for a presentation and discussion titled Climate, Environment, and the Rights of Women and Girls on Wednesday, June 23rd, at 2pm ET/11am PT.
You can RSVP for this event here!
We’ll be hearing from Karen Gaia Pitts, Project Coordinator for Transition Earth and founder of the Maasai Harmonial Development and Sustainability (MHDS) project. MHDS highlights the connections between environmental and public health challenges and uses community based solutions to enhance conservation practices, build resilient communities, and improve the health and well-being of local villagers. In addition, Joshua Mirondo, Transition Earth volunteer and Communications Team member at Reproductive Health Uganda, will share his on-the-ground experiences as a reproductive health trainer and peer educator.
We hope you'll join us for this interesting presentation!
