As life slowly returns to normal, we can easily forget how dark our culture has grown. The attack on Life is at the epicenter of this great struggle.

Two armies stand diametrically opposed: the followers of Christ and the haters of God.

Abortion kills a baby. That is undeniable. The question we now fight over is whether that killing should be legal.

More perverse is how many now openly question: Should every baby be defended? Or should only the “perfect,” and “wanted” babies live while the other babies die?

On another front, the fight in hospitals is now over whether you or a death panel should decide if you live or die.
Because we define our modern world in simple, black and white terms; Because we think every baby should be given a chance to live; Because we think your life is worth living and fighting for;

We are hated.

We are hated by the merchants of death. We are hated by the world.

But we did not reach this tip of the spear by ourselves. You and other culture warriors have chosen Life for over 47 years. You have refused to call evil good, heeding His voice, and holding fast to Him. (Deut. 30:19)

For years, you bore witness to Life in school, at family gatherings, work, and even church as you were ignored, mocked, and opposed.

But you did not cower idly as the culture eroded. You built Texas Right to Life, the most aggressive Right to Life organization in the world.

Over the years, the fight has become more difficult. Life at all stages is under assault, and often by those who pretend to defend the vulnerable.

Our work has intensified. The abortion industry continues to rip preborn children from their mothers at a rapid rate. Hospitals are still convening death panels to kill ailing patients.

We must band together to protect Life. The Lord never assembles a massive army to defeat the enemy. He shows His strength by gathering a dedicated few to demonstrate His power.
