Now that the primaries are over, we must ramp up our fundraising efforts. Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin has a head start on us, and he’s willing to pour tens of millions of dollars of his own money into this race.
And even though we’ve made incredible progress in Richmond since winning full control in 2019, we cannot rest with such a slim majority. If Republicans win just a handful of nail-biter races, they could reclaim the House of Delegates and roll back our hard-won progress.
Virginia is blue now — but it hasn’t always been. If we take our eye off the ball, the Commonwealth could easily swing back to red.
