The event on the 6th of January was an embarrassment for our country, and especially for me as a Marine who has served abroad to defend our nation and our democracy.

I, like many of you, was extremely disappointed in the failure of Congress to support a bipartisan investigation into what happened in our nation’s Capitol.

There are too many unanswered questions about what happened, why it happened, and who was involved.

We deserve to know the truth. Unhealthy partisanship is getting in the way. And that is exactly why I am running.
