Happy Pride Month!
To the entire LGBTQ+ community: You are seen. You are loved. And you are celebrated -- this month and every month of the year.
As we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community here in New Jersey’s 11th and the progress we’ve made toward LGBTQ+ rights and equality, we also must recognize the work that still needs to be done.
We need to make the Equality Act the law of the land to codify equal protections for all LGBTQ+ Americans.
Do you support the Equality Act and establishing federal anti-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ+ community? [[link removed]]

In New Jersey, we’ve taken steps to provide full protections for the LGBTQ+ community, but there are nearly 30 states that still don’t offer anti-discrimination protections.
The Equality Act would rectify that by establishing federal anti-discrimination policies to ensure LGBTQ+ Americans can’t be fired from their jobs or evicted from their homes just because of who they are or who they love.
I’ve voted to pass the Equality Act to correct the longstanding injustices that still face the LGBTQ+ community every day, and I am committed to seeing this fight through all the way to the end. I hope I can count on you for this fight, too.
