Happy Pride Month!

Every June, we celebrate the courage and vibrancy of the LGBTQ+ community in Maryland and across the country.

Pride Month is a joyous celebration, but we must be committed to the fight for justice and equality for the LGBTQ+ community every single month out of the year -- not just in June.

TEAM DUTCH POLL:
Should the Senate pass the Equality Act to grant equal protection under the law for the LGBTQ+ community? [[link removed]]

YES! >> [[link removed]] No. >> [[link removed]]

In Maryland, we know that diversity is our strength -- which is why our state grants full anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ Marylanders.

But that’s not the case in nearly 30 other states in our country. Many LGBTQ+ Americans still live in fear of being discriminated against just because of who they are.

That’s why I voted to pass the Equality Act and grant full anti-discrimination protections for every LGBTQ+ American -- no matter where they live. And I’m proud to have earned a 100% rating from the Human Rights Campaign for my commitment to advancing pro-LGBTQ+ legislation.

This Pride Month, I want to know where you stand on equality for all. Please take our moment and tell me if you support the Equality Act -- it only takes a second. >> [[link removed]]
