It’s official: the Democratic primary in California for the 2022 midterm elections will be on June 7, 2022. Hard to believe, but it’s less than a year from today.
With the National Republican Congressional Committee and the GOP keeping a close eye on Katie’s seat, our fight to keep Katie in Congress has never quite ended. But now—with an official date established for the primary—things are beginning to ramp up.

Running a re-election campaign isn’t easy—and the more resources we get now, the more we’ll be able to do to keep Katie in Congress, keep our district blue, and hold onto our House majority. How we fundraise now will help us better understand how much money we can put towards resources like voter registration, phone banks, and bringing on new Porter Supporters.
What’s more, the stronger our fundraising is now, the more competitive we can be against the millions of dollars that the NRCC and the GOP will inevitably flood into our district to unseat Katie.
