John, this is not a drill.

We’re only two days into the general election and Terry and Glenn Youngkin are already neck-and-neck in the polls AND fundraising.

We knew this would be difficult. From the beginning, analysts at Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight have been calling this “the most competitive election of 2021.” The Washington Post said that Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin has a “surprisingly good chance” of winning the Governor’s office. And now, The Los Angeles Times is calling the Virginia Governor’s race a “Trump-Biden rematch.”

But with Donald Trump and Ted Cruz’s endorsements and Youngkin’s $75 million deep pockets, this already competitive race has been shot into the stratosphere.

Let’s be clear: Terry has beat extremists like Youngkin before, and you can bet that he’s ready to do it again. But without the resources he needs, Terry doesn’t stand a chance.
