Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. The Equality Act (HR 5), which passed the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this year and is coming up for a vote in the Senate soon, in many ways does the opposite and needs to be opposed. Instead of respecting differences in beliefs about marriage and sexuality, the Equality Act would discriminate against people of faith, punish faith-based organizations and even risk mandating taxpayers to fund abortions. Act now on the USCCB alert to urge your Senator to vote no! Learn more about the Equality Act here. Please click here to view this on the web. |
