Where to start?

Maybe you’re frustrated by West Virginia politicians trying to cut infrastructure investments in our state. Or maybe it’s the party bosses passing an affirmative action plan without the input of under-represented people. Or maybe it’s the bi-partisan consensus on shutting down harm reduction programs during an HIV outbreak. Or maybe it’s lawmakers gleefully fighting to protect corporate influence over elections. 

It can feel overwhelming to watch the place we love get treated this way. 

And, we have a choice. We can despair, or we can build.

Maybe today is the day you decide to run for office in 2022. Or convince a friend to run. We’ve built a political machine, so you don’t have to go it alone.

Maybe today is the day you decide to take greater leadership in your own community or workplace -- helping to start a union or mutual aid project or podcast.

Or maybe you’re not quite ready to take a leap that big... and today’s the day you make another donation to help the folks who are. (When you donate, please share your reason for doing so on social media… so that maybe someone else feels like they can take action too.)

The only good thing about pain is that sometimes, if we come together, we can manage to turn it into power.
