No matter where you live - Somalia or Norway, the Philippines or Spain - a child's smile can communicate the same unadulterated joy. Fatima enjoys playing with her big sister Fatun, spinning in her favorite red dress, and bringing joy to her whole family, in the way that only a giggling toddler can.
Fatima's short life hasn't always been easy, but we'll tell you more about that later. For now, I hope her resilience and joy help you face whatever comes your way today with renewed good humor.
