Friend --

We need your help to contact Governor Cooper and demand he veto HB 352 and HB 366, bills that put thousands of North Carolinian families living in hotels at risk of homelessness:

Twitter: @NC_Governor

While the Covid pandemic sent millions of people into poverty, the North Carolina senate is determined to ensure more people become houseless by stripping the rights of hotel tenants. HB 352 and HB 366 make it so anyone living in a hotel for less than 90 days doesn’t qualify as a tenant and can be evicted without notice. These bills are cruel, inhumane, and disregards the humanity of people struggling to get through this pandemic.

Cooper has the power to keep thousands of people housed in an ongoing pandemic and we need your help calling and tweeting at Governor Cooper to veto HB 352 and HB 366!

In solidarity,

Action NC
