Chef Roro
June is Men’s Health Month, and it’s important to acknowledge that men’s mental health is just as important as their physical health. To help us get people talking and thinking about the relationship men have with their mental health, we’ve invited award-winning chef and mental health advocate Chef Roro Asmar (Asmar’s Mediterranean Foods and Shababi: Palestinian Rotisserie Chicken) to join us for a conversation on the subject.
AFSP’s Senior Communications Writer Brett Wean will interview Roro to learn more about his personal experiences and mental health insights through the lens of cultural considerations, important transitional moments in men’s lives, the importance of opening up, talking to other men about mental health, navigating toxic masculinity, and more.
We hope you will join us at 1 pm ET, Tuesday, June 15, on Instagram @afspnational.
