As Republican-led states around the country are making it harder to vote, Vice President Harris is leading the fight for voting rights from the White House.

But as The New York Times acknowledged: “She has her work cut out for her.” Later this month, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is going to put the For the People Act up for a vote. And despite its strong appeal across party lines, it’s not certain the bill will pass.
Vice President Harris may be leading the fight from the White House, but this level of democracy reform will need a public pressure campaign -- every senator needs to understand that the American people are demanding the Senate pass this bill.
