One of the most direct and effective actions that President Biden has taken since stepping into office is pausing student debt payments for Americans as we work to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. But by the end of the summer, student debt payments are set to restart for millions of borrowers, and interest rates are set to increase on student loans as early as next month.
