Pizza party happy hour -- come meet our chapter and learn how to get involved!
Come join Sister District DC/MD/VA chapter for a happy hour and pizza party at Sonny's Pizza's great outdoor patio! On June 19th at 4PM, we'll be catching up, talking about the work our chapter does supporting great Democratic candidates, socializing, and answering your questions about how to get involved! This cycle we are excited to support Briana Sewell and Josh Cole in Virginia's upcoming elections. Everyone is welcome to stop by for an informal chat about our work, whether you've been canvassing with Sister District 100 times or this is your first foray into organizing! 🍕RSVP HERE!🍕
Covid note:
This event will be mask-optional and it is being held at Sonnys' well ventilated outdoor patio. We are asking folks who do not wish to wear a mask to bring proof of vaccination.
We're phonebanking on Wednesdays!
Whether or not you can join us at the pizza party, we hope you'll sign up for a fun phonebanking shift! We will be hosting a phone bank this--and every--Wednesday, leading up to November. Join us at 6:30pm ET June 16th and each Wednesday after that to help our Virginia House of Delegates candidates Josh Cole and Briana Sewell! You can sign up here!
Each virtual phonebank over Zoom includes training for new phonebankers (returning callers can jump right in), and check-ins mid-way through and at the end. We'll share successes and address questions throughout. Veteran phonebank leaders help you get comfortable, increase your effectiveness, and make sure you have a great experience. If you haven't phone banked before, don't worry--these wonderful pros on our team will help you out, and any time you can give is valuable. We hope to see you there!
