Hi John,

You might have heard that Pennsylvania Republicans are now calling for an Arizona-style audit of our 2020 presidential election results.

The 2020 election was free and fair, and it was driven by the highest voter turnout in recent history. But the GOP wants to convince millions of Americans that our victories were fraudulent.

The Big Lie is impacting our district too. Republicans recently held a fundraiser near PA-05 to tell voters that Democrats can't be trusted to run elections, baselessly claiming that we “ran out of ballots only in heavily Republican precincts” in 2020. Right after, my challenger Dave Galluch took the opportunity to boast that he's the first Republican to file against me.

My team is getting worried, John. While I know I can count on you, and that the people in PA-05 trust me to continue representing them in Congress as I have for the past 3 years, we're expecting to add about 40,000 new constituents with Pennsylvania's redistricting process, and we need to be prepared.

We need to show them that our elections are fair, and that I am committed to representing each of my constituents equally in Washington. But right now, we don't have the funds needed to run that kind of operation and reach every voter so they can get to know me personally.

That's why I'm asking for your help today. We ran the numbers, and we need to raise $2,500 in the next 24 hours to jump start our field operations.
