Hey John — I just wanted to follow up on Paris’s email and make sure you don’t miss our call tonight. Here’s the link to RSVP: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Biden is continuing to negotiate with the racist and anti-democratic GOP. He ditched one set of bipartisan talks yesterday only to start negotiating with another set of Senators (including some “moderate” Republicans). But our movement and our demands haven’t wavered: He needs to stop listening to the GOP and start listening to the people who put him in office.
We’re planning something big in D.C. later this month to ramp up the pressure on Biden and Democrats in Congress and push them to fight for a bold infrastructure package and a fully-funded Civilian Climate Corps that meet this moment.
Things are moving quickly, and we’re having a mass call TONIGHT at 8:30 pm ET to talk more about what’s coming together for our D.C. action. We’ll also hear from marchers in the Gulf South and California and talk about the current political landscape. Will you join us tonight? [[link removed]]

This is our shot to begin the decade of the Green New Deal, and we can't let Biden get away with watered down compromises.
Hope to see you on the call tonight!

John,
On Friday afternoon, 60 Sunrisers blockaded the White House in order to force Biden to stop negotiating away our futures and pass a bold, fully-funded Civilian Climate Corps. And while this fight isn’t over, I’m proud to tell you that our efforts are starting to pay off.

As our team was waiting at Biden’s doorstep — holding signs and reiterating our demands — he announced that he wouldn’t support the GOP’s joke of an infrastructure counter-offer.
This is a small (but promising) sign that our pressure is working. We told Biden to push for a bold Civilian Climate Corps that would create millions of good-paying jobs to help stop the climate crisis, and he made the right call by not caving to Senate Republicans...this time. This isn’t over yet, John. We’ve got to keep bringing the heat.
In the coming weeks, Biden will have to decide: Will he negotiate with the party of insurrectionists and white supremacists, or will he listen to the demands of the very people who put him in the White House?
Our futures and our lives are not negotiable. Will you join our mass organizing call this Wednesday to learn how you can help us keep the pressure on Biden? [[link removed]]

Friday’s protest made our demands of Biden crystal clear. Now, the ball is in his court.
If Biden chooses to sideline us and forgo bold action on climate, we’ll be back — and this time, we’re going to have a lot more than 60 people with us.
Let’s show Biden we’re not messing around. Click here to RSVP for our call on Wednesday night to help us win the strong Civilian Climate Corps we need. [[link removed]]
Dozens of people from all corners of our movement put their bodies on the line last week. Now, it’s our turn to take action.
See you on Wednesday,
Paris, Sunrise
