It's official! Rep. Val Demings is running to challenge Marco Rubio in 2022 for Senate in Florida.
Senator Rubio has gone back and forth on Trump so many times you'd be forgiven for losing track, but make no mistake about where Rubio ended up: Team Trump. After rumors that Ivanka would primary Rubio, Rubio bent over backwards to demonstrate his fealty to the former president, and it worked. Not only did Ivanka stay out of the race TRUMP HAS ALREADY ENDORSED RUBIO FOR REELECTION.
This is one of our only chances to flip a Senate seat blue in November, and as you're well aware, Democrats only control the Senate with Kamala Harris' tie breaking vote. The Supreme Court, healthcare, our very democracy itself hangs in the balance. We need to win this election.
