>>Email your member of Congress and ask them to support a two-party infrastructure solution.<<

Friend,

For a decade now, No Labels has been advocating for a return to bipartisanship in Congress. We strongly believe that better, more durable legislation is created when both parties play a part in shaping it and that they only way we can end partisan gridlock is if both parties come together to solve problems.

As you may have heard, recent bipartisan infrastructure talks between President Biden and Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) have ended. But now, President Biden is negotiating a bipartisan group of Senators and members of the House Problem Solvers Caucus to find an two-party solution.

Both parties agree that our nation's infrastructure is in desperate need of repair and improvement. Infrastructure is an issue that affects every American, regardless of political party. On Tuesday, No Labels leaders sent a letter to President Biden and Congressional leadership, urging them to work together for the good of the American people:

"Although there are real policy disagreements about how to define and pay for infrastructure, they can be worked out by compromise, as have even more difficult and controversial issues in the past. The barriers that will need to be cleared on the way to a deal are primarily political. But this is not the time to position for the next election. It is time to plan for the nation’s long-term well-being. Most Americans recognize a two-party infrastructure solution would be a win for Democrats, for Republicans and most importantly for America. We ask that our elected representatives in Congress be as clear eyed about what’s needed as the American people."

Failure to forge a two-party solution would be blow to democracy. It has never been more important to make our voices heard. We are urgently asking all No Labels supporters to contact their Members of Congress, and ask them to support the bipartisan solutions put forth by the Problem Solvers Caucus. (Click here to view a framework of the Problem Solvers' plan.) Our voices are loudest when we unite together. Let's use our unified voice to tell Congress, and the President, that the American people want them to work together on this.
