Earlier this morning, Democratic Representative Val Demings of Florida announced her candidacy to unseat Republican Senator Marco Rubio — growing the field of Democratic candidates vying to flip this GOP-held seat.

Next year’s Florida Senate race is our chance to finally take down Trump-loyalist Marco Rubio. We’d also protect and expand our Democratic Senate majority at the same time.
